Hyderabad, April 11: Hyderabad police cordon search at Mangalhat led to seizure of LPG cylinders and vehicles on Saturday. The operation covered multiple localities under Golconda zone.
Police seized 10 domestic, 7 commercial, and 79 small LPG cylinders from houses. They also recovered 41 liters of beer and 8 liters of whiskey from illegal outlets. In addition, officers seized 15 small cylinders from auto rickshaws.
Around 200 police personnel took part in the operation. DCP B Chandra Mohan supervised the drive across Upper Dhoolpet and nearby areas. Meanwhile, teams checked vehicles and houses during the search.
Police also seized 28 two wheelers due to lack of documents. Officials said such drives will continue to curb illegal activities in the area.
