Hyderabad, October 25: As part of the Election Code of Conduct, the Police Authority on Wednesday issued Rs. 58,44,374 cash has been seized, District Election Officer, GHMC Ronald Rose said in a statement. So far Rs 39,56,31,660 cash has been seized, he said. He said that 19 FIRs have been registered and so far 334 have been filed.
Under law and order, 13 licensed firearms were collected today and 4429 have been collected so far. 69 Nakkas cases have been registered and so far 886 Nakkas cases have been registered. Today non-bailable warrant is 2 and a total of 595 cases have been registered.
On Wednesday, 795 posters were removed from public properties under the violation of MCC and a total of 70940 posters were removed. Today 444 banners have been removed and so far 23208 banners have been removed. Today, 829 statues of politicians in public properties have been masked. So far 76433 idols have been masked.
In private properties, 1 wall writing has been removed today and so far 1162 wall writings have been removed. Today 180 posters have been removed and so far 19285 posters have been removed. Today 76 banners have been removed and so far 4728 banners have been removed. Masks were placed on statues of 182 political leaders today. So far 20,566 idols have been masked.
