Rajasthan: Muslim Students Stage Strong Protest Against MLA's Remarks on Hijab

Jaipur/Hyderabad, Jan 29 (Hydnow):  The Muslim girl students studying in the government school located in Gangapore area of the capital of Jaipur took to the streets and gheraod the Subhas Chowk Police Station demanding the action against the local MLA Balmukund Acharya who made comments against the hijab. 

The girl students shouted slogans and expressed their anger against the MLA.  The students said that on the occasion of the annual function, local MLA Balmukund Acharya was called on our behalf, and he came here and talked about our hijab.  We do not accept religious comments at all.  

They said that both Hindu-Muslim will not tolerate such comments in the temple of education.  We are demanding action against  Balmukund Acharya.  Along with the three students, their family members also took to the streets in large numbers and started demanding action.  

During this, the police top officials reached the spot to pacify the agitators, but the students were strict to their stand  saying that they are not giving leave until the FIR was registered.  (Hydnow)
