Hyderabad, September 27: GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose has directed the officials to move the idols out as per the procedure in case of Ganesha idols being placed in baby ponds and ponds in honor of Ganesh immersion. The commissioner inspected the Ganesh immersion arrangements being held at the People’s Plaza on Wednesday night.

Speaking on this occasion, the commissioner said that while immersing the idols of Ganesh in the pond, after the completion of the puja, the additional commissioner of Sanitation was ordered to take steps to dispose of the puja materials in a separate area instead of throwing them in the pond. Venu ordered to immediately remove the scarf formed during the immersion of the idols. Moreover, the officials were directed to take steps to ensure that the sanitation staff worked for 24 hours.

NC Zia Uddin, Zonal Commissioners Venkatesh Dotre, Additional Commissioner Ravi Kiran, Sanitation Additional Commissioner Upender Reddy, and others were present along with the Commissioner.
