Hyderabad, April 9 (Maxim News): A tragic incident occurred in the Amberpet police station limits where a sanitation worker was hit by an RTC bus while walking after completing his duties. The details given by Inspector T. Kiran Kumar and locals are as follows. Pushpa (50) from Sripuram Colony, Moosarambagh, works as a sanitation worker in the Alikeef Durgapur area of Amberpet. In this regard, she reported to the sanitation supervisor along with a photograph and completed her duties at 12.30 pm on Thursday.
At the same time, while walking to the bus stop at Ali Cafe intersection to go home, a RTC bus (AP29Z3048) from Dilsukhnagar depot, which was taking a sharp turn from Amberpet towards Golnaka, hit Pushpa from the front. The front wheel hit Pushpa, causing her severe injuries and a crushed head, causing her to die on the spot. The police, who immediately reached the spot, shifted the victim’s body to Osmania Mortuary for postmortem and registered a case and are investigating. (Maxim News)
