Hyderabad, Jan 4 (Hydnow): The schedule for the By-election to two MLC seats under the MLA quota in Telangana has been released by the Election Commission of India. today.
It may be recalled that Kadiam Srihari and Padi Kaushik Reddy were elected MLAs in the recently held assembly elections. Both of them resigned from the posts of MLC. The election schedule for these two seats was released by the Central Election Commission on Thursday.
According to the schedule, Notification will be issued on January 11, the last date for filing nominations is January 18, the scrutiny of nominations on January 19, the last date for withdrawal of nominations is January 22, and The polling if necessary, and the counting of votes on January 29.
