Hyderabad, April 11: Hyderabad Science City will get a Science Experience Centre with a cost of Rs 232.7 crore, officials said. The project will come up at the CSIR IICT campus near NGRI.
Union Minister G Kishan Reddy shared project details and design visuals on X. He said the initiative will boost scientific learning and innovation. Moreover, the centre will offer interactive and immersive experiences for visitors.
Hyderabad Science City project features and facilities
The Hyderabad Science City project will include exhibition halls, motion simulators, and a walk through aquarium. It will also feature a 3D digital dome theatre with advanced visual technology. Therefore, visitors can explore space and science concepts in an engaging way.
The centre will also house a robotics facility and dedicated space science exhibitions. In addition, innovation hubs will support student projects and activities. These spaces aim to promote hands on learning and creativity.
Officials said the Hyderabad Science City will strengthen the cityβs position as a science hub. Furthermore, the facility will showcase multiple science fields under one roof. The project aims to make science more accessible for students across Telangana.
