Shocked by death of son, woman dies of heart stroke in Mancherial

Shocked by death of her son, a woman died of heart stroke at Madavelli village in Kannepalli mandal on Saturday night. Her son drowned in a stream after he went for a swim in the same village on Saturday afternoon.

Kannepalli Sub-Inspector K Prashanth Reddy said that deceased was Radandi Rajeshwari (35), wife of Satyanarayana, a small time farmer from Madavelli village.

Rajeshwari breathed her last while being shifted a hospital in Bellampalli around 11.30 pm. She lost conscious for continuously wailing over the loss of her 15-year old son, Sampath. She did not eat food, nor drink water since afternoon till night. “She was shocked over the death of her grown-up son who was helping his family in many ways after quitting studies,” Shankar, a local told Telangana Today.

On the other hand, Satyanarayana and his 10-year daughter were jolted by the consecutives deaths. His teenaged son and wife died in the span of 12 hours. Funerals of his wife and son are likely to be held on Sunday evening. Villagers expressed shock over the death of the woman and opined that the loss of two family members would leave a disastrous impact on him and his daughter.

Rajeshwari’s son Sampath and Kunche Ramcharan (11), a Class V student of Achulapur village in Tandur mandal, met watery grave when they along with three other boys were attempting to swim at a deepest spot of the stream for beating the heat, on Saturday around 2 pm. Bodies were fished out. Ramcharan was at his grandparents’ home in Madavelli for spending holidays.
