Hyderabad, April 12: Singer Mangli filed a complaint over misinformation at Panjagutta Police Station, seeking action against those making false allegations.
She visited the station on Sunday and named Singapogu Subbu in her complaint. She alleged that he spread misinformation and made baseless claims against her. Moreover, she urged police to take strict action.
Mangli stated that Subbu came to her office and demanded Rs 10 lakh. She also said he threatened to defame her if she refused. Therefore, she approached the police for protection and legal action.

The Singer Mangli complaint over misinformation follows earlier allegations and counter complaints. Advocate Subbarao had earlier filed a complaint against Mangli. He accused her of cheating him of Rs 10 crore in a micro finance case.
However, Mangli had already filed a complaint at Narsingi Police Station on April 11. She alleged that false propaganda claimed she cheated Rs 150 crore. She also said a person linked to Subbu threatened her on March 21.
Furthermore, she stated that the person spoke in a threatening manner. She added that he pressured her for a meeting and warned of defamation. Police are examining the complaints from both sides.
