Speed Up Repair Works Of Kaleshwaram Project: Uttam Kumar Reddy

Karimnagar/Hyderabad, June 7 (Hydnow): Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy has ordered the construction companies to speed up the repair work in the affected areas of the Kaleshwaram project.

She said that the gates of the three barrages of Annaram, Medigadda and Sundilla should be lifted after doing some repairs at the damaged places. Came to inspect the works. Work is progressing rapidly at Medigadda and Annaram.

As the Sundilla barrage work is progressing slowly, we have been asked to speed it up. We have ordered the construction companies to complete the work before the rains. We will build a dam at Tummadihatti, said Uttam. (Hydnow)
