Srisailam Underground Hydropower Station Achieves Record of Power Generation
Srisailam/Hyderabad, April 2 (Hydnow): Srisailam Underground Hydropower Station achieved a record level of electricity generation on Saturday.
On these occasions, officials, staff, and workers of the underground water power station shared sweets and expressed happiness. A cake-cutting ceremony was held, and CE Suryanarayana said that a record 2164.599 million units of electricity has been generated for the year 2022-23. While there are six units in total, some units were damaged in the previous fire accident.
Except for the fourth unit which was completely damaged, the remaining units are being repaired and generating electricity. On this occasion, the CE congratulated everyone who contributed to record electricity generation through five units. (Hydnow)
