As part of the “Vijay Diwas Celebrations and commemorating the 1971 Operations, Telangana & Andhra Sub Area (TASA) today organized a Wreath Laying Ceremony at Veerula War Memorial Secunderabad. The event was attended by serving personnel and veterans from all three services. Children from Army Schools & NCC Cadets got an opportunity to interact with the Veterans of 1971 on the occasion.
Major General Rakesh Manocha, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding, HQ Telangana & Andhra Sub Area thanked the 1971 veterans for their services and felicitated them with memorabilia specially designed for the occasion, honoring their contribution. Major General Rakesh Manocha has felicitated Lt General YN Sharma, PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retired) 1971 War Veteran at his residence.
