Hyderabad, May 13 (Hydnow): The polling process for the Lok Sabha elections in Telangana is going on peacefully. 52.34 percent of polling was recorded till 3 pm. A polling of 39.92 percent was recorded in the Cantonment by-elections.
In the Adilabad Parliamentary constituency by 3 pm it recorded 62.44 percent and in Bhuvangiri 62.05 percent. Chevelle 42.35 percent, Hyderabad 29.47 percent, Karimnagar 58.24 percent, Khammam 63.67 percent, Mahabubabad 61.40 percent, Mahabubnagar 58.92 percent, Malkajgiri 37.69 percent, Medak 60.94 percent, Nagarkurnool 57.17 percent, Nalgonda 59.91 percent, Nizamabad 58.70 percent, Paddapalli 55.92 percent, Secunderabad 35.48 percent, Warangal 54.17 percent, Zaheerabad 63.96 percent polling recorded. The Union Home Minister has alerted the states of the country in the wake of the Indo-Pak War. The Telangana government and police, which were immediately alerted, took preemptive measures. Security has been tightened in Hyderabad.
