Masjid-e-Qutub Shahi | Hyderabad, April 14 (Hydnow): Telangana Waqf Board CEO Mohd. Khaja Moinuddin has expressed his confidence that the properties of Masjid-E-Qutub Shahi, Patancheru in Sangareddy district worth Rs. 1,000 crores will be free from encroachment.

Explaining the details of the case, as per the age-old Muntakhab, a vast landed property admeasuring 130 acres and 02 gunts in survey No. 152 of Patancheru (Village and Mandal) belongs to Masjid Qutub Shahi knowns as Masjid Kovit Bun. As the Revenue authorities issued ORC in favour of the illegal occupants of the said Inam Wakf Property, the Wakf Board has represented all the Revenue Authorities concerned for decades.

Finally, the Wakf Board contested its case before the Court of Additional Collector (Rev), Sangareddy in Case No. F3/1225/2021. The CEO by treating the matter as an important one has taken a special interest in the protection and recovery of Wakf property and thereby get expedited the matter for its earlier disposal, as a result of which, the Court after going through the matter in detail has passed orders, on March 31 cancelling all the ORCs, issued by the Revenue Authorities with a direction to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sangareddy to conduct an enquiry in the matter.

On the lines of the above justice of the Addl. Collector in the subject matter, the Wakf Board is expecting the same positive response by the RDO, Sangareddy based on the basic instrument of Wakf, that is Muntakhab and in the near future, the income of the entire Wakf property shall go to the Masjid Qutub Shahi, Patancheru, Sangareddy district.

Efforts to Free From Encroachment of Land Belong to Masjid-e-Ek Khana

The Chief Executive Officer of the Wakf Board also said that the land property measuring 5 acres and 33 Guntas in various survey numbers of Nirmal Town and District belongs to Masjid-e-Ek Khana, which is Gazette notified Wakf property. the property is worth Rs. 50 crores.

About 10 persons were claiming the title of the above said Wakf property as their own private property in the Court of Collector & District Magistrate.

Taking the matter for the protection and recovery of Wakf property and thereby get expedited the matter of its earlier disposal, as a result of which, the Court after going through the matter in detail has passed orders on March 23, 2023, duly rejecting the request of the claimants for issuing of ORCs in their favour for the reason that the Wakf Board has constituted a Three Member Committee consisting of its Board Members for their report (Hydnow)
