Three Engineering Students Held for Possessing Ganja in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Three people who cross dressed as transgender persons and created nuisance demanding money from people were sentenced to 30 days jail by a local court, police said on Thursday.
The trio- Mallesh, Jangaiah and Saraiah, had recently went to a house in Banjara hills and demanded money from the residents. When they refused to give money, they created nuisance.
Based on a complaint, the Banjara Hills police booked a case and arrested them.
The Union Home Minister has alerted the states of the country in the wake of the Indo-Pak War. The Telangana government and police, which were immediately alerted, took preemptive measures. Security has been tightened in Hyderabad.
Thirty-two airports across northern and western parts of the country, including Srinagar and Amritsar, have been closed for civilian flight operations till May 15, according to the civil aviation regulator.
