Medak/Hyderabad, July 12 (Hydnow) A train stopped on the tracks for almost an hour after hitting a buffalo. The incident took place today, in the Medak district.
A goods train was coming from Nizamabad to Secunderabad when a buffalo came on the tracks on Nagula Palli of Tupran mandal and the train hit it.
The buffalo got stuck under the train engine and the train stopped there. A buffalo died in this incident. The movement of other trains was severely disrupted as the goods train stopped on the tracks. finally, the train departed after the pilot and other crew removed the stuck dead buffalo. (Hydnow)
