Jagityal, May 21 (Hydnow): Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Party MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha lashed out at the Central government for increasing the unemployment rate in the country and the depreciation of rupee against the dollar alarmingly.

Modi ye Mushkil hai. Paathal me GDP haiAasmaan pe Berojgari hai,” she remarked.

She alleged that the BJP government at the Centre was doing nothing for the country and the ruling party leaders are just passing their days by escalating the communal tension among people, instead of addressing the issues of the country.

Stating that the State government has taken steps by providing 95 percent of jobs to the locals in the recent issued notifications and the recruitment process is going on in a transparent manner without having corruption, the former Nizamabad MP said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is giving huge priority to the education, especially for the development of weaker sections and has so far granted to about Rs.8,000 crores for the fee imbursement.

Lashing out at BJP MP Dharmapuri Aravind for failing to bring the Turmeric Board to Nizamabad district, Kavitha alleged that he had deceived farmers and he had no right to continue in the post. (Hydnow)

Chhatriwali Movie Review: Rakul Preet Singh’s film is informative but lags in bits

I could never wrap my head around Bollywood’s obsession with continuously addressing condom as a chhatri or an umbrella. Not only it’s cringe to hear repeatedly but also, it somewhere defeats the whole purpose with which films around these subjects are made. Moreover, picking a taboo subject and making a film on it can turn out to be quite risky if you don’t stick to the agenda and beat around the bush. Thankfully, Rakul Preet Singh’s Chhatriwali, directed by Tejas Prabhaa Vijay Deoskar, doesn’t digress much, and follows a crisp screenplay. There are some flaws here and there, but with all the humour and lighter moments, they can be somewhat overlooked.
