Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Parliamentary Party meeting will be chaired by the party president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan at 11 am on Sunday.
The members of Parliament representing the State in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will attend the meeting.
With the Parliament session scheduled to commence from Monday, the Chief Minister will discuss and direct the MPs on the strategies to be adopted as well as issues to be raised by them in the Parliament.

Issues on the agenda are said to include the Centre’s policy on paddy procurement from the State, river water distribution, sanction of funds for pending projects, release of pending funds to various development programs and also pending issues pertaining to Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
The CM is said to be directing the MPs on the strategy to be followed in the parliamentary sessions starting from Monday.
The main stance to be discussed in the meeting is that centre’s stance on purchasing paddy in Telangana.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday announced that the election for the office of the South Asian country’s president will be held on March 9.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the Kashmir Valley on March 7, his first visit since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019. The last time the Prime Minister visited Kashmir was in February 2019.
