Hyderabad, Sept 16 (Hydnow) Former Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, who has been staying away from BRS for some time now, has joined Congress today.
Tummala joined the congress in the presence of AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge who gave a warm welcome to Tummala in the party by wearing a party scarf. Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, KC Venugopal Revanth Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, and other leaders participated in the Tummala inclusion program.
However, with the joining of Tummala in Congress, the political equations of the erstwhile Khammam district are changing once and for all. The followers and key leaders of the joint Khammam district are also likely to wear the Congress scarf within a few days. (Hydnow)
