Two GHMC Officials Caught Red-Handed For Taking Rs. 1.5 Lakh Bribe
Hyderabad, Oct 19 (Hydnow): Anti-corruption department officials raided the GHMC circle office in Saroornagar while taking a bribe of Rs. 1.50 lakh from a person.
ACB officials caught Hayatnagar Circle Town Planning Supervisor Uma and Laxman, a neighborhood services employee working in the same department, red-handed. a few days ago Sudhakar Reddy of Gurramguda met Hayatnagar Circle Town Planning Supervisor Uma for the construction of his house. Uma demanded a bribe of Rs. 1.50 lakh for the permission.
Unwilling to pay the bribe, the victim Suhakar Reddy approached the ACB officials. ACB Majid Ali said that Uma and Laxman were caught while taking money from the victim on Thursday according to a pre-planned plan. (Hydnow)
