Hyderabad, June 19 (Hydnow): Well-known economist BPR Vithal passes away here today due to age related problems. He was 93 and is survived by his wife, daughter and two sons.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed his deep sorrow over the death of veteran bureaucrat and well-known economist BPR Vithal. The CM recalled the services rendered by BPR Vithal as the longest serving Finance and planning secretary, Vice-Chairman AP Planning and Development Board in the united AP state, Advisor International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Member of the Tenth Finance Commission. The CM conveyed his heartfelt condolences to members of the bereaved family.(Hydnow)
