Kamareddy/Hyderabad, Oct 5 (Hydnow): Anwar-Uloom Educational Society Chairman Nawaab Mahboob Alam Khan has questioned Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao for contesting against the Muslim candidate Mohd Shabbir Ali in Kamareddy who has spent his entire life for the development of Muslims and why not against T.Raja Singh in Begum Bazar who is deadly against the Muslims.
Addressing the gathering at the Kamareddy Me Jalsa Rahmatul Lil Alameen, in support of the candidature of Mohd Shabbir Ali of Congress, he said that because of Shabbir Ali and his contribution to the 4 percent reservation to the Muslims, there is the presence of Muslims in the employment and education, this is his contribution to the Muslims.
He said, that though he is not a member of any political party, he was close to KCR for 12 years because he has promised to give 12 percent reservation to Muslims in education and employment, which has not been fulfilled. KCR has no sincerity in implementing it, if he would have sincerity he would have implemented by issuing the G.O., which he has not done during his tenure.
He said, the Muslims are more backward than the SC and ST this is only because of disunity among the Muslims, if all the Muslims become united 40 to 45 candidates will be elected with Muslim support which will help form the government to any party, this is the power of Muslims, he appealed to the Muslims to unite and support to the Congress party.
He said the country is going through a critical situation because of the BJP at the Center, he said there is an attack on Muslims everywhere, and Muslims are being targetted by labeling them with the anti activities and spreading the false on the Holy Quran> He said education is most important which is also mentioned in the Quran, with the lift of education the positive of the Holy Quran will be spread, he said because of the disunity and maintaining distance with the religion is the cause that the Muslims are facing insults all over the country and in the world.
He accused the government of not giving scholarships to Muslim students who are studying in Minorities Institutions, this is being done to keep the Muslims away from education. He alleged that KCR is posing to be a friend of Muslims, but in practice, it is not. He appealed to the Muslims to unite and to support Shabbir Ali in Kamareddy and the Congress party in the remaining seats of the state in the coming elections. (Hydnow)
