Hyderabad, Aug 20 (Maxim News): YSRTP President YS Sharmila has been arrested by the Telangana police for demanding immediate justice for tribal woman Lakshmi who is undergoing treatment in the hospital for police using third-degree against her.
A heated argument took place between the police and the party workers. Police took Sharmila to Hayat Nagar Police Station. Sharmila was stationed on the road in front of Shyam Hospital in BN Reddy Nagar, Ranga Reddy district. Sharmila made it clear that the dharna will continue until the promises made by Minister Sabita Indra Reddy are fulfilled.
Sharmila protested on Sagar main road, Heavy traffic was blocked. Sharmila, who was arrested at BN Reddy, is likely to be moved to Lotus Pond. Sharmila is being arrested and the police are turning her around. (Hydnow)
