Hyderabad, Nov.22 (Hydnow): The voters of Malkajgiri assembly constituency today cornered their MLA Mynampally Hanmantha Rao and demanded him to build roads for them immediately. They held a massive rally for two kilo meters with placards containing slogans like ‘No Roads; No votes. Shocked at the sudden protest program, Rao tried to convince the voters to withdraw their agitation and promised to fulfill their demands.
However, the voters did not budge and demanded a written promise from the MLA. Left with a no option, the MLA has made a written promise on his letter head stating that he would build the roads with is own money and handed over to the voters after signing on it. However, the voters told the MLA that they did not the money of the MLA and asked him to build the roads by spending money from GHMC funds. The MLA agreed to do so prompting the voters to withdraw their agitation. (Hydnow)
