Bank office in Hyderabad vacated after employee dies of Covid-19

The commercial branch office of a prominent bank at Koti in the city is being vacated after one of its employees died, reportedly due to Covid-19.

Though he was on leave since one month, the employee had visited the bank a few days ago. After he died, as a precautionary measure the entire local head office at Koti is being vacated by GHMC and police, officials said.

The health status of 40 employees at the branch is also being tested, besides spraying disinfectants on the premises, officials said.
