Hyderabad, April 11: Bus accident on NH 65 near Kodad left 16 passengers injured early on Saturday. The private travel bus rammed into a truck from behind on the Kodad bypass.
The injured were shifted to the Government General Hospital in Kodad. Around 36 passengers were travelling in the bus at the time of the accident. Locals rushed to the spot and helped shift the injured.
The bus was travelling from Hyderabad to Eluru in Andhra Pradesh. According to reports, the driver lost control and hit the truck from behind. However, officials are verifying the exact cause.
Unconfirmed reports suggest the driver may have dozed off. Meanwhile, authorities are continuing the investigation into the incident.
