Delhi/Hyderabad, Nov 2 (Hydnow): The Central Election Commission has appointed observers for the Telangana Assembly elections. IAS and IPS officers from other states have been given responsibility as observers. 67 IAs officers were appointed as general observers. they will supervise the election management process in the respective constituencies, 39 IPS officers have been appointed as police observers.
These observers will supervise the maintenance of law and order and related matters in their assigned constituencies. General observers and election observers will enter the field from the 10th of this month. EC has already appointed 60 IRS and IRAS officials as expenditure inspectors. With the release of the notification and the start of nominations, the cost inspectors will enter the field on Friday. (Hydnow)
