NC president Farooq Abdullah has expressed his disapproval of the arrest of former Chief Minister and current opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh.
Farooq Abdullah, a prominent leader of the National Conference, strongly condemned the arrest of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief. He believes that arresting Chandrababu Naidu, especially at a time when he is working to strengthen his party ahead of elections, was a wrong decision.
Moreover, Farooq Abdullah cautioned the ruling YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh against the belief that arresting Chandrababu would weaken him. Instead, he asserted that this action might make Chandrababu Naidu even stronger in his political pursuits.
TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday moved the Supreme Court challenging the Andhra Pradesh High Court order dismissing his petition for quashing the FIR against him in connection with an alleged scam in the Skill Development Corporation.
