Hyderabad, June 16 (Hydnow): Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology (GRIET), Hyderabad organized a faculty development program (FDP) in association with Kaligotla Vijaya Bangar Raju. The program successfully completed today which mainly focused on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IOT & Big Data Applications in power Electronics, Engineering and its Allied areas.

According a Press Note here today Dr Jugge Praveen, Principal of GRIET said, the objective of this FDP was to make faulty, scholars, industrialists etc., understand the need for artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data and Internet of things to power and energy sector.

Dr. Phaneendra Babu’s incredible work ethic in organized the conference, wonderful support and motivation from GRIET management he said.

Praveen and Dr S K Singh, Dean R&C led to a larger scale FDP that involved more than 1000 participants, including engineers , professors and manufacturing industry experts.

Kaligotla Vijaya has outstanding proficiency in electronics and control systems, well aware of how engineering is evolving over time and can identify potential issues in the field such as the gap between engineering, research and industries in India.

This platform addressed this addressed this problem by helping to bridge the gap between industry and academics.

Interaction between engineers, researchers and industries motivated the engineering groups to provide engineering solutions in the areas of renewable energy, electric transportation, power electronics, electric drives, control techniques, smart grids, communication protocols, intelligent charging infrastructure and standards.

The impact of this FDP is dissemination of engineering knowledge, which leads to further advancement of technology in various States in India. (Hydnow)
