Heavy Rains In Hyderabad Today And Tomorrow

Hyderabad, July 23 (Hydnow): The Indian Meteorological Department – Hyderabad said that there is a chance of heavy rains in Hyderabad city on Sunday and Monday. Yellow Alert continues in Hyderabad. Officials of IMD-H have announced Orange Aler for 21 districts.

Another low pressure is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal tomorrow. Officials said that heavy rains are likely to occur across the state on July 25 and 26 due to the influence of low pressure.

Alarmed by this, the GHMC officials said that they have completed basic programs like watering pumps and deployment of personnel near the main roads where the low-lying areas of the city are flooded.

On this occasion, officials expressed their confidence that due to the strengthening of canals as part of the SNDP program undertaken by GHMC, the difficulties in the flood-affected areas will be alleviated this year.

Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has ordered the authorities to be vigilant in the face of heavy rains in Hyderabad city. The Minister asked GHMC commissioner Ronald Rose about the current situation in the city through teleconference.

“Hussain Sagar receives a huge amount of water from the top. The water level should be monitored regularly. The people of the lowlands should be alerted as the water is being released downstream.
