TSRTC Earns Rs. 12 Crore In A One Day

Hyderabad, Jan 16 (Hydnow): On the occasion of the Sankranti festival, a large number of people have gone to their homes as holidays have been declared for educational institutions.  52.78 lakh people traveled in TSRTC buses on the 13th of this month, the TSRTC received a record income of Rs. 12 crores on that one day.  

Officials said, on the other hand, the number of zero tickets issued to women has exceeded Rs. o crores

On the 11th of this month, 28 lakh people, on the 12th over 28 lakh people, and 31 lakh on the 13th of this month have disclosed that they used free travel.

The TSRTC had anticipated that the number of women traveling during the festival would increase significantly.  First, it is expected to arrange 4,484 special buses.  However, the officials said that 4,400 special buses were run on January 11, 12, and 13.  due to heavy traffic, so far, a total of 6261 special buses have been run.  The passengers were taken to their destinations without any untoward incident.  (Hydnow)
