Chennai/Hyderabad, Sept 24 (Hydnow): On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, a young man wearing a burkha and dancing became controversial. The incident took place in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.
Now the video related to this has gone viral on social media. The police identified Arun Kumar and took him into custody after receiving many complaints objecting to him dancing while wearing a burqa.
The police said that it may have caused a clash between the two communities. He warned that strict action would be taken if religious sentiments were hurt during Ganesh Utsav. But why did Arun dance wearing a burka? What was his intention behind it? Police are probing whether the act was done with the intention of creating communal tension.
It seems that along with Arun, some others also danced wearing burkha. The police are currently searching for them. (Hydnow)
