The Virtual Change of Guard was attended by well over 170 members.

Sailesh Gumidelli, the outgoing President passed on the Collar and Gravel to his successor Raju virtually without any physical meeting.

The entire meeting was conducted seamlessly through Zoom due to Covid,19 to maintain the social distance.

Sailesh presented an overview of recent projects undertaken by RCHD which include setting up of a Dialysis Center to provide dialysis for about US$4 per session, equipping of a Rotary Blood Bank to provide free blood products to the underserved, a Cytometer to diagnose and manage treatment of children suffering from Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) which is offered free for poorer children. This year DARE was extended to clubs outside RI District 3150 and as well as internationally. We have partnered in setting up a dialysis center at Dhaka and equipping a maternity ward in Bangladesh.

The newly installed President Raju presented upcoming initiatives for 2020 -2021 include expanding the existing Dialysis Center, setting up two new dialysis centers one in a tribal area of Telangana and one in the town of Guntur, establishing a state of the art diagnostic center at a Gurudwara in Secunderabad, providing computer literacy and moral compass education to over 25 government schools.
