Minister KTR Appeals UN To Intervene In The Gaza-Israel Conflicts
Hyderabad, Nov.6 (Hydnow): IT Minister KT Rama Rao today instructed that a perfect policy has to be implemented to protect farmers of Podu lands and forest lands in the state.
The minister participated in some development programs in his Siricilla segment. Later the Minister held a review meeting at the collector office with officials concerned in attendance.
The Minister instructed the district officials for effective coordination for protecting the lands and interests of the farmers and people. The state will come up with a podu land policy to protect its farmers, the Minister assured.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed a plan for protecting Podu land farmers in the state. We have to ensure that the Podu and forest lands are protected and farmers involved in the process be safe and get benefited, KTR said.
The municipal minister asked the political parties to stop mud-slinging at the government on podu lands, forest lands, farming activities and irrigation projects.
The Podu farmers should trust the government to plan out to protect their interests with new policy, he added.

He expressed concern that the farmers are still facing problems from middle men and business people. We will take necessary action against such activities and protect the interests of the farmers, the Minister said.
Our intention is to get production through crops as the state has abundant irrigation projects. The government will come out with a plan to sort out related issues, he assured. (Hydnow)
