Hyderabad, June 16 (Hydnow): Congress party decided to hold birthday celebrations of its top leader Rahul Gandhi in a modest manner. TPCC Chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy today urged the party workers to hold the birthday celebrations of Rahul Gandhi by serving the poor people of the state. He asked them to not cut cakes or hold the celebrations in a grand manner. Speaking on the occasion, Reddy alleged that the TRS led state government was muzzling the voice of the opposition political parteis in the state. He alleged that the state government had kept aside all the pending projects which were taken up by the Congress party during its rule. He also alleged that the state government had taken up several new projects instead of completing the old projects. Targeting CM KCR he alleged that the CM was constructing the project to earn commissions instead of irrigation water. He alleged that the state government had arrested the Congress party leaders who decided to visit the pending irrigation projects of the state in an illegal manner. Talking about the imposition of huge amount electricity bills, he alleged that three to four times more electricity bills were imposed on the poor consumers of the state by the state government. He alleged that the state and central government had failed miserably in the containment of corona virus.

Earlier he held a video conference with the party workers along with AICC state Incharge RC Kuntia with the party leaders and workers on the issue of the organisation of the birthday celebrations of Rahul Gandhi. He asked the party leaders to felicitate all those front line warriors who are involved in the containment of covid 19 virus and the treatment of the covid 19 patients in the state.

The important leaders of the party like CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, AICC Secretaries Srinivasa Krishnan, Bosu Raju , MP A.Revanth Reddy, TPCC working president Kusuma Kumar, former PCC presidents VH and Ponnala laxmaiah, Shabbir Ali and others took part in the video conference. (Hydnow)
